When I was growing up, my mother always set her table with white damask cloths, which she starched herself, but I love flowers and colors. I live near water in Maine so I especially love blue. I already had this tablecloth, but a guest serving shortcake accidentally spilled juice from the macerated strawberries on the cloth. It laundered beautifully but I felt I'd like another since it was so well sale-priced. I love Heidi Carey linens. very gratefully, anne
